Grixby begins to cut his list

Omaha (Neb.) Central cornerback Cortney Grixby has begun to narrow his list.
“I have begun to trim things down a little bit,” the 5-foot-9, 160-pound Grixby said. “I just needed to eliminate some of the schools so I could focus on what the main ones could offer me.”

The schools under the watch of the four-star rated cornerback are Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas State, Iowa State, Colorado and UCLA.
“I really don’t have a top school out of them,” he said. “They all offer quite a bit and are good programs.”
Grixby, the younger brother of Nebraska running back DeAntae Grixby, has not lined up any official visits.
“I don’t have any trips set up at this time,” he said. “I’m looking at when they would fit into my schedule and when would be the best time to try and go to the schools. Most of the schools have called and visits have come up in the discussions. I just haven’t finalized any of them and set anything up.”
