Boynton Beach, Fla., outside linebacker Baxter Grisby started out the season under the radar. After having a dynamic senior campaign he the offers began to roll in and now it appears like he is headed to play in the Big East.
"I was supposed to take an official visit to Rutgers this past weekend, but some things fell through because I didn't have a qualifying test score or something," Grisby said. "I am still planning on taking my official visit to West Virginia this weekend. Coach Hand and coach Rodriguez were at my school today so I know they are not backing out on me."
He attended the NIKE camp in Miami in April where he measured in at 6-foot-1, 216 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.66 seconds.
"I am pretty much committed to West Virginia, just not officially," Grisby said. "I will probably commit on my visit this weekend unless something goes bad wrong. Everyone else is pretty much out at this point."
