Grimm taking things slow

Four-star offensive lineman Mike Grimm of Bethel Park (Pa.) has remained relatively quiet recently, while picking up a few new offers. The big junior has a couple of visits in mind and is also eager to prove himself as one of the top linemen in the country.
"Recruiting has been going well," said Grimm. "I picked up a couple of offers; I'm just talking to schools and stuff like that."

Arizona and Boston College were the most recent offers for Grimm, joining Virginia, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, West Virginia, Akron and Youngstown State. Grimm also mentioned that interest continues to come in from several additional schools, including Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, LSU, Penn State, Maryland, South Florida, Michigan and Michigan State.
Grimm has not taken any recent visits and does not have any planned for the near future. When asked where he would like to visit when the opportunity arises, he mentioned Alabama and Georgia. Overall, Grimm believes that Penn State, Pittsburgh and Rutgers are currently recruiting him the hardest.
"They're all good schools and I like them all," said Grimm, who is 6-foot-7 and 325 pounds.
When it comes to making a final decision, Grimm would like to have his process complete before the Army All-American Game in early January.
On April 28th, Grimm will take his abilities to Pittsburgh to participate in the Rivals Camp Series presented by Under Armour.
"I would definitely like to get that 5th star hopefully," said Grimm. "I want to show that I'm a good, solid player who always gives good effort and plays till the whistle blows."
