Gress down to two

Last week offensive tackle Adam Gress trimmed his list from four to three. He just recently made another cut leaving him with just two schools on his mind. Where is the rising senior from West Mifflin, Pennsylvania leaning?

The 6-foot-7, 294-pound tackle holds offers from schools like Michigan, Penn State, Rutgers, West Virginia, Central Florida and Marshall, but he has eliminated most of those schools from consideration.

"I'm pretty much done with all my camps and that stuff actually," Gress explained. "I've actually slimmed down my list a lot. I've got some favorites and some schools that are left in the background.

"I've really slimmed it down to two schools. It's pretty much Penn State and West Virginia now. You know, both offers were pretty recent and some things are up in the air. I'm just thinking about what I like or don't like about each of them. When both of them offered it was like, 'Wow, that's good to hear.' After seeing them I really like them and they're both sort of hometown schools. That's really why I like them."

While he likes both schools they couldn't be much more different, according to Gress.

"Schools are different everywhere you go," he explained. "No two schools are the same. Penn State and West Virginia are just totally different campuses and different places. Even the schooling is different.

"I'm not going to wait it out too long, but me and my parents just have a lot to figure out. We've been kind of arguing and giving our different thoughts on things.

"My parents really like Penn State. I'm really still kind of up in the air. They're giving me their point of view and I'm telling them what I did or didn't like about the schools."

Gress said he may try to take another unofficial visit to each school before making a decision.
