MORE: UTSA recruiting recap
The road to Signing Day is nearing an end for Fort Worth (Texas) All Saints running back Daniel Gresham.
The one-time Texas Longhorn and Louisville Cardinal commitment is now weighing his options, and a decision is on the horizon.
He has a few options at this point, and he plans to take his second official visit over the weekend.
"Well, I visited SMU today and I liked it so I'm going to take an official up there this weekend," Gresham said. "And Colorado State offered and so did UTSA, so after I visit this weekend I'll be able to put everything together. I'm looking forward to it."
Gresham's first official visit was to UTSA last weekend.
"It was nice," Gresham said. "Honestly, after visiting Alabama and different schools like that I didn't really know what to expect, so I got down there to San Antonio and I was surprised. They have a lot to offer, it's a great city, and an up and coming program. So I was excited about what the coach was talking about and what he wants to do and which direction he wants to go in."
He thought about taking an official visit to Colorado State, but it does not look like he will be able to at this time.
"No sir, I was either going to visit SMU or Colorado State, and Colorado State, I could possibly do a mid-week visit, but I don't think that's going to work out," Gresham said. "I talked to coach and I talked my mom and I've chosen to take a visit to SMU instead of Colorado State this weekend."
Colorado State has talked about making an in-home visit, as has UTSA. Texas, Ole Miss, and Miami have also kept in touch, but do not have room at this time.
His options now are Colorado State, SMU, and UTSA, and is not naming any leaders going into his final official-visit weekend.
"Not really," Gresham said. "I'm going to take the visit this week and I'll make the decision from there. I plan on making the decision Saturday or Sunday."
After making his weekend decision, Gresham plans to sign with his school of choice on Sighing Day.
