After picking up an early offer from Kansas, rival Missouri has countered with an offer, making the decision making process even more difficult for Blackburn (Mo.) Santa Fe defensive tackle Kurtis Gregory.
“When last time I talked to you, I was kind of leaning toward Kansas because they had offered me,” Gregory, who is 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds, said. “But now I’m really, really leaning toward Missouri.”
And for a number of reasons, he said.
“I know everybody at Missouri, and it’s sort of the home-town school since it is only 45 minutes away,” he said. “Everybody here already goes to the games and they cheer for MU already, so they would be able to see me play if I went there.”
Gregory said he’s tempted to pull the trigger for a Missouri commitment some time very soon.
“I want to have a decision made by the end of the school year,” Gregory said.
