Greg Boone up to nine offers
Chesapeake (VA) Oscar Smith quarterback Greg Boone is one of the top quarterbacks in Virginia for 2005. Boone, who participated in this past weekends NIKE Camp in Charlottesville, now has nine scholarship offers. Who has offered Boone?
“I have scholarship offers from Maryland. Michigan, West Virginia, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Virginia, and North Carolina,” said the 6-foot-4, 255-pound quarterback who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.55 seconds.

Boone is also a standout safety. What position are most teams offering him to play?
“All of my offers are to play quarterback. I am happy about that. I love hitting people, don’t get me wrong, but I feel that my future is at the quarterback position.”
Does Boone have a favorite?
“I will narrow my list down to five by May. Right now, I am just taking everything in and looking at what each school has to offer.”
What does Boone look for in a school?
“I look at the staff, the overall health of the program, the offensive system that they run, and academics.”
