Denver (Colo.) Mullen running back Maurice Greer has two scholarship offers to date on his list and he’s working on improving his game.
“I have offers from Colorado and Kansas State,” the 5-foot-11, 185-pound Greer said. “I’m getting a lot of interest from other schools too, but so far those are the only two offers.”

The other schools pursuing the member of the Rivals100 are Oregon, Arkansas, UCLA and Missouri.
“I get quite a bit of mail from them,” he said. “A lot of camp information. I’m starting to get an idea of which schools I might want to camp at. I’m thinking right now about Colorado, Oregon, Missouri and probably Kansas State for camps. Nothing is set though.”
Greer a multi-sport star at Mullen bypassed the basketball season as he focused on keeping his grades in line and his speed on the track.
“I decided not to play basketball this year,” he said. “That let me focus a little bit in the classroom and to keep my grades up. I also could workout so I could be ready for track season which is about to start. That will also help me with my speed for when I get to the football field next fall.”
As a junior, Greer rushed for 2,186 yards and 30 scores.
