Greer shooting up charts

Solon, Ohio, inside linebacker Steve Greer had an impressive senior season, and the 6-foot-2, 218-poudner really has seen his stock shoot up with the college coaches late in the process.
"Everything is really starting to get busy for me recruiting wise right now," Greer said.

"This weekend I have a visit to Oklahoma State and next weekend I have a visit to North Carolina set up as well. Both schools are looking at me as a linebacker."
But the Cowboys and Tar Heels aren't the only ones interested.
"The Maryland coach just called me and let me know that they are very interested, too, and they're looking at me as a linebacker also," Greer said. "I do not have a top group yet, but I want to get on campus and get a feel for things before I narrow it down."
Greer said he'll be on the lookout for a few key things when he's on campus at Oklahoma State and North Carolina.
"I am just looking for the overall atmosphere as well as academics, a good solid football program and people who I can really get along with," Greer said.
"I just want an overall good feeling about the school. I am just playing it by ear right now with no timetable. I really am waiting for it to just kind of happen."
Greer also has offers from Air Force, Eastern Michigan (Dec. 7), Rice and Eastern Illinois.
