Greenwood up to five offers

Conroe, Texas running back Lou Greenwood is rated among the top 40 running backs in the country by Rivals.com and he is highly-thought-of by several college football programs as well. Entering July, Greenwood is up to five scholarship offers with more potentially on the way.
"I've got offers from Ole Miss, Houston, Colorado State, Syracuse and Iowa State," Greenwood said. "I've been talking to Missouri and Georgia Tech a lot and Tennessee."

Though he has yet to receive offers from them, two schools stand out early.
"So far Missouri stands out, I like Missouri," he said. "I'm kind of feeling Missouri and Tennessee. I like how Missouri runs that spread offense and Tennessee they use their running backs a lot. I like how Missouri plays football overall.
"Out of the schools that have offered me I'm kind of leaning towards Syracuse and Iowa State."
Though it is a long ways away, Greenwood has already thought about official visits in the fall.
"I really want to go to Syracuse," he said. "I know I'm going to go there and I'm probably going to go to Iowa State too."
Before he can get to that point though, Greenwood has some work to do over the summer to prepare himself for the season. Though he is already a complete back, he has one thing in particular he'd like to work on before the fall.
"I'm just trying to get a little bit heavier and that's pretty much it," he said. "I'm trying to get heavier and stay fast."
Greenwood, who stands at just under 6-foot-1 is hoping to be at at least 180 pounds by kickoff while still maintaining that speed 4.4 speed.
