Greene enjoying the ride

Mustafa Greene is one of the top prospects from the Palmetto State. Greene, 6-0 and 200 pounds, is a running back that rushed for 1,300 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior. That's great numbers considering he missed five games.
"I had a shoulder injury and just couldn't get it healthy," Greene said. "My coaches wouldn't put me out there. I feel fine now. I feel good.

"As a running back I have good vision and follow my blocks. I am a down hill guy with a good first step."
According to Greene he is sitting on a dozen offers right now. School like Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Oregon, Clemson, North Carolina and South Carolina have all offered."
"North Carolina was my first offer. It felt good knowing I have a free ride to school. The funny thing is that at the time I didn't fully understand the scope of this until my coaches and my mom explained things to me. They were jacked up and they kept on saying there were more to come. I never expected any of this."
Greene has been to games at Clemson and South Carolina. He has also been to a junior day at South Carolina.
"I have spring break this week and I would like to get down to Florida. They have not offered yet but they are recruiting me.
"Right now I am wide open and just want to enjoy the ride. I plan on announcing in January. My decision will be based on my family and academics. I want to go to a place where my family can travel and see me play. Playing time and the depth chart will be important because I just want to play."
