Green, teammates haul in offers

Things are heating up for Corsicana prospects, especially for offensive guard Courtney Green who was one of three players on his team to grab a Big 12 offer this week.
The talented 6-foot-4, 285-pounder picked up not only an offer from Ole Miss a couple of weeks ago, but added one from Baylor last week. Green is joined by his teammates Chris Sanders and Greg Stewart as having offers from the Bears. Coach Dave Henigan says he's not surprised that any of his players grabbed early offers.

He's especially that way about his star guard Green.
"I don't think he's surprised at all," Henigan said about Green's reaction to his offers. "He's 6-foot-4, 285 pounds and a he can run. So no, I think he knew he was going to get a good bit of interest.
"I wouldn't say he's shocked by this."
TCU, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M are other schools that Henigan says are pursuing Green very heavily.
"They'll be more come spring time but they've been talking a lot about him," Henigan said of Green.
With Sanders and Stewart also picking up offers from Baylor, Henigan doesn't think this is the beginning of a package deal scenario.
"No, I don't think so at all," Henigan said. "I think they'll do whatever is best for them individually."
