Green set to decide in October

Woodbury (Minn.) East Ridge four-star Seth Green, one of the nation's top quarterbacks in the 2016 class, has named his top three and will announce a commitment next month.
Green has decided on Oct. 17 as his commitment date, and there were several reasons for making his decision this fall.

"Especially with quarterbacks it is good commit early and help recruit for your school," Green said. "It's been fun, but I want to focus on the season too."
After compiling nine scholarship offers, Green has settled on a top three of Michigan State, Minnesota and Oregon. He broke down what it was about each of those three schools that elevated them to the top of his list:
Michigan State - "I have always liked Michigan State. They are a really dominant program in the Big Ten. I like a lot of the people out there and they are producing top pro-level quarterbacks consistently. It's a good sign for their programs showing that they have three active quarterbacks starting in the NFL.
Minnesota - "I love everybody here and obviously it is home-state and family. It is a really good school for business, so that's a good thing. The coaches, I am really close with them and feel very comfortable with them, so I could see myself fitting in there.
Oregon - "I really like their style of play, their location on the West Coast, the coaches are very well known, their facilities are great, academics are focused on as much as football and then in my career field it is a very good school."
Oregon hosted on an unofficial visit for their Sept. 6 home game. He is looking to attend games at both Michigan State and Minnesota before his Oct. 17 announcement date.
"I'm looking to try and go to the Michigan State-Nebraska game (Oct. 4) and I think the Minnesota-Northwestern game (Oct. 11), but I still have to look at those dates," Green said.
The 6-foot-3, 203-pound Green has led East Ridge to a 4-0 record this fall, completing 55.2 percent of his passes for 777 yards and 10 touchdowns. He has also rushed for 148 yards and three more scores.
