Green ready to visit UNC

Waynesboro (Ga.) Burke County wide receiver Donquell Green has heard the concerns about his size (5-9, 160) but he's not letting it slow his pursuit of a college scholarship.
"I just want to show schools how hard I'm willing to work," Green said. "Once they see that and know I won't give up I think they'll come around."

At least once ACC school believes that Green has the talent to play at the next level. North Carolina offered him late last year and has been in consistent contact ever since.
"They want to use me as a back that can catch passes out of the backfield," Green said. "Then I would be returning kicks, too."
Tar Heels wide receivers coach Gunter Brewer is Green's primary recruiter and the two will be spending time together next weekend in Chapel Hill.
"I'm looking forward to spending time with the coaching staff and checking out the whole environment," Green said.
While North Carolina is the only BCS school to offer (Green also has an offer from Troy), he's also been hearing from Florida and Florida State and will be taking more visits over the next few months.
"I have a visit coming up to Florida State on March 2," Green said. "And after that I'll be taking a trip to Georgia Tech.
