Green happy with Pac-12 choice

Zachary Green has been hearing from some other programs but the Arizona commit is not at all interested and plans to stick with the Wildcats.
Nebraska and Ohio State are two teams that have reached out but the Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure prospect said he's not backing out of his decision.

"I'm definitely happy with Arizona and where they're at now," Green said.
"When I make a commitment I want to be solid to my commitment and I don't want to flip around everywhere. I want to be true to my word since they're true to their word about honoring my scholarship.
"Other schools were trying to get involved but I direct them to my dad. I don't want to talk to them because I want to honor my commitment to Arizona."
Green, a 5-foot-9, 210-pound three-star prospect, committed to Arizona in April and has not wavered. The St. Bonaventure standout said he and a few other commits are planning to take their official visits after the season.
That way they can do even more recruiting for the Wildcats.
"Me, (Devin) Holiday, (Brandon) Cox and (Derek) Babiash we all want to take it after the season," Green said.
"The coaches told us to take it after the season so we can focus on other recruits, when they get there we can recruit them also. If we go on a game week, the coaches will be focused on the game and won't be able to give us 100 percent so they want us to come when the season is over."
More than recruiting, Green is focused on a huge matchup this week. Both Ventura St. Bonaventure and Santa Margarita (Calif.) Catholic are undefeated and meet Friday night at Saddleback College.
"Santa Margarita is going to be a really, really tough opponent and we're playing at their house so we have the bus ride and the atmosphere there and I can already tell it's going to be crazy especially at Saddleback College everyone is expecting a big crowd," Green said.
"Our coaches were telling us it's time to get ready for the beast and the beast is Santa Margarita. That's what we have to get ready for mentally and physically."
