Green happy with early offer

Rasheem Green is not sure whether colleges will utilize him on the offensive or defensive line but the 2015 prospect is certain of one thing: He already has a Pac-12 offer.
The Gardena (Calif.) Serra standout recently obtained UCLA assistant coach Adrian Klemm's phone number, called him up and after the two talked for a while, Green said Klemm offered him.

It is the first one but there could be many more for the 6-foot-5, 269-pound prospect who will get his opportunities to shine on one of California's top teams next season.
"I got coach Klemm's number from my coach at Serra and I called him," Green said.
"He was talking to me and I got the offer from what he told me. I was just talking to coach Klemm about school and all that."
Green is not sure how UCLA found out about him - whether it was from film or just word of mouth around Los Angeles - but he's definitely happy the Bruins reached out and offered.
It's far too early to make any decisions but Green said he's going to take a much closer look at UCLA now that the offer has arrived.
"It's a great school," Green said. "They're going to be a great team and they could have a great season this year."
Interest is picking up from programs across the country for Green, who said Miami, Cal and Washington are three other programs involved early.
The 2014 class is especially loaded at Serra but the 2015 group is not shaping up too poorly, either. So far, Green and linebacker John Houston have already been offered by the Bruins.
