Green gets closer

It was really only a matter of time before the scholarship offer count for Corsicana, Texas offensive guard Courtney Green went up tremendously.
Though he started with ones from Baylor, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, and TCU, several others have joined the mix. North Carolina, Houston, Iowa State, and LSU all became offers for Green as of late. Notre Dame has even verbally offered Green according to a recent conversation with a few of the Irish coaches.

"I got a phone call from one coach and I can't remember his name off the top of my head," Green said. "He just said they were going to offer me and I should expect something in the mail. I also got a call from Nebraska but I haven't called them back yet."
Green says that though new offers keep coming in, he's unlikley going to wait much longer.
"I'm probably going to commit somewhat soon actually," Green said. "My top three is really LSU, Oklahoma State, and Baylor. I just like those programs and their campuses. I just like them a lot."
Green says he's going to make trips to Baylor, TCU, and Texas A&M in the near future, but doesn't have any dates set.
"It's going to boil down to whatever school comes to mind and I'm feeling at the time," he said. "It's not going to be any big list of reasons why I'm choosing this school over this one. It's about comfort level."
