Green eyes Florida visits

Rasheem Green said he hasn't heard from any new schools in the last few weeks but his recruitment could pick up this fall especially if he gets a chance to hit the road.
The 2015 defensive lineman from Gardena (Calif.) Serra who already has an impressive offer sheet wants to take some trips and get a better feel for what football is like outside his home state.

"I really haven't heard from schools all summer," Green said.
"I don't have any plans yet but I'll see if I can go to schools not in California. I want to see if I could have some fun and take some trips."
The 6-foot-5, 269-pound prospect who looked good at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge in Chicago this summer has one state targeted for trips in the coming months - Florida.
Green said he wants to take trips to all three in-state programs to see what they're like and whether there is a chance he might be able to play there.
"I would like to go to Florida to see Florida, Florida State and Miami," Green said. "I would like to see all three of those schools if I could."
So far, Green has been offered by Cal, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington.
Florida and Florida State are two of the schools being considered by teammates Adoree' Jackson and Dwight Williams, respectively, and Glen Ihenacho and Olajuwon Tucker are looking at a trip to Miami so Green getting out to the Southeast this fall is not completely out of the question.
