Green excited for Wisconsin trip

Zachary Green is headed to Wisconsin later this month for a camp and the Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure running back is excited because he has been talking a lot with the Badgers' coaching staff.
The 2013 prospect who has shined at multiple NIKE camps even said an offer from Wisconsin might be too good to turn down.

"I'm heading out there June 19 and it's going to be a four-day camp so I'm pretty excited about it," Green said.
"They've been talking to my dad and I hope they give me an offer when I go there because if they give me an offer I couldn't really refuse them because they're a really good running school and always have really good backs."
Green, a 5-foot-8, 190-pound prospect, rushed for about 600 yards with five touchdowns and also caught 21 passes for 167 yards in his sophomore season at Los Angeles Cathedral. He has since transferred to another powerhouse program in Southern California.
Green has heard only good things about Wisconsin and cannot wait to visit the campus so he could see it for himself and meet the coaching staff. That will be crucial as his recruitment continues.
"I've heard Wisconsin is a really good area," Green said. "I'm just hoping the coaches are cool because I plan to meet all of them, too.
"I'm going to see the atmosphere of the entire school because we're sleeping in the dorms. I'm going to get the whole experience of being a Wisconsin football player for a couple days."
Green said Alabama continues to send him recruiting mail and that the Crimson Tide coaches want him to camp there this summer but he won't be able to make it. Rice, Washington, USC, UCLA and many other schools have also kept in contact with the 2013 recruit.
