Four-star athlete Christian Green is close to a decision. Green, from Tampa, Fla., just got back from an official visit to Florida State. The Tampa Catholic star is down to two teams, FSU and Georgia.
"We just walked in the door," said his father, Hiram Green. "We had a good trip to Florida State. We will sit down and talk about it tonight as a family and then Christian wants to think about it some more for another day or two."
For Green, visiting Tallahassee and Florida State is nothing new. But according to his father, he still used the time to ask questions and get to know the new Florida State coaching staff.
"It's been coach (Bobby) Bowden up there forever so this was a chance for him to get to know how a Jimbo Fisher team would be like, how it would run and things of that nature. Christian was happy with what he heard and what he saw."
Green, 6-2 and 200 pounds, will announce on National Signing Day at 3:30. Last week Georgia made an in-home with the Greens on Thursday and FSU was in the home on Wednesday.
