Great start for RB Dupree

Sophomore Antonio Dupree has had a heck of a start to his recruitment. The running back from powerhouse Baltimore (Md.) Gilman only has two offers but they are from some of the nation's top programs.
Dupree is familiar with one of Ohio State's stars for last year.

"Ohio State is a great school," said the 5-foot-10, 225-pound Dupree. "Their offense is kind of like what we run here. That was a big surprise when I got the offer. I'm trying to increase my game so I can get to Carlos Hyde's level. I haven't really started talking to their coaches yet but hopefully we can build a strong relationship."
West Virginia is also a program that Dupree is pretty familiar with.
"I know the same things about West Virginia that I know about Ohio State," he said. "It's a great school. They run a different type of offense but if the coaches what me to do it, I'll do it. If coach wants me to go catch the ball, I'll go catch the ball."
Dupree is getting a lot of interest from one of the best schools in the SEC and a few others as well.
"South Carolina is in a great community and they have great academics," Dupree said. "That could be a college that I would like to go to some day.
"Indiana, Rutgers, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia and schools like that have been showing interest," he said. "We can't really communicate a lot."
Dupree hasn't taken any visits lately but is planning on taking a few sometime in the next few months.
"Last year I went to Virginia and Maryland for a camp," said Dupree. "This season I might be going up to Rutgers for a camp."
Last year Dupree helped Gilman to a 7-3 record.
