Great Bridge has two more in 2008

According to Chesapeake (Va.) Great Bridge head coach Pete Gale, his school features two more Division I prospects in 2008. Who else is there to keep an eye on besides Casey Turner?
One player is 6-foot-5, 255-pound offensive tackle Michael Price.

"Michael has raw athletic ability and last year was his first playing football," he said. "He came in for us and did a great job. We moved him from defensive tackle to the offensive line halfway through the year because he's got tremendous feet and a good work ethic. He's a kid that is going nowhere but up.
"Over the year, he progressed. He went from somebody that didn't know what it took to never missing a down or rep. He's really competitive."
Despite limited play, Price is getting college notice.
"Virginia, Virginia Tech and Maryland are sending mail right now," he said. "I do know West Virginia is his favorite. He used to live out there and would like to go back if given the chance."
Meanwhile, 5-foot-9, 175-pound wide receiver Austin Taylor was one of Turner's frequent targets in 2007 catching 34 receptions for 640 yards and eight touchdowns.
"Austin is a great open field receiver that has terrific hands," he said. "We're a four receiver offense and he had a lot of competition with three other receivers.
"On the field, he's dedicated himself to being a team player and realizes what it takes in our offense. He's not always the main guy, but goes hard on every single play. Next year he'll get a lot more opportunities to catch the ball and I'm looking forward to it."
Taylor hasn't received much interest yet, but he is favoring Kentucky at this time.
