Gray will make SEC visit

Junior offensive lineman Derwin Gray of Washington (D.C.) Dunbar is quickly approaching ten offers, and along the way will try to visit a few schools this fall. One local visit is already in the books, and another to a top SEC program is right around the corner.
Gray, who holds offers from Auburn, Tennessee, West Virginia, North Carolina, Michigan State, Rutgers, Syracuse and New Mexico, has been very busy in the last couple of weeks.

"My recruiting has been crazy," said Gray, who is 6-foot-5 and 255-pounds. "I've been in contact with a lot of coaches since September 1st. I've been hearing from Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, Michigan, UConn and a lot more."
Tennessee was Gray's most recent offer, but he believes that he will add to his total in the near future.
"Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan, Maryland, Alabama and UConn are all close to offering," said Gray.
So far Gray has attended one game this fall and has plans for at least one more.
"I went to the Maryland/Miami game that Maryland invited me to and I plan to make a trip to Auburn for their game against Florida," said Gray, who gave his thoughts on his Maryland experience. "The experience was great to see Maryland get a big win over Miami in Byrd Stadium. The fans were crazy out there for their Terps."
Gray also gave an update on his junior season.
"My junior season at Dunbar is going pretty well so far, but we as a team can always get better," said Gray. "So far for me personally my season is going okay. My season will not be complete until we win a championship."
Gray is seeing time at left tackle and defensive end so far this season and also practices at tight end.
