Gray down to two schools
SAN ANTONIO – MarQueis Gray will make his college decision during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday and the final schools are Minnesota and Oregon.
Gray, a 6-foot-4, 204-pound dual-threat prospect from Indianapolis (Ind.) Ben Davis, has not given any indication which program he will select, but one thing is for sure; he's looking for a team where he can run and throw and use his athletic ability.

"(Minnesota) coach (Tim) Brewster is like another player to me," Gray said. "He's a cool guy. When I went on my official visit there, they treated me really well and they kept in contact when I broke my arm during the season.
"Oregon, I like their coaching staff, they have a nice program, they run a spread offense also and they have good players. The style of offense is very important because that's what I like to do is run and throw the ball. If I could do both that would be really great."
Gray threw for 1,113 passing yards and 12 touchdowns and rushed for 600 yards as a junior. He missed time during his senior year with a broken arm. Rivals.com rates him as the second-best dual-threat quarterback nationally behind Terrelle Pryor, the nation's No. 1 player regardless of position.
Gray is third on the Indiana top 15 list behind Notre Dame commits John Goodman, who's also playing for the East, and Braxston Cave. He's also a member of the Rivals250. The Indianapolis product said it has been a nerve-wracking few weeks getting ready to compete in the U.S. Army game. He, Pryor and Alabama commit Star Jackson are the East squad quarterbacks.
"It's overwhelming especially getting ready for it," Gray said. "I was nervous working out. I had to be disciplined and work out because you know there's a lot of competition out here so you have to stay in shape."
