Gray down to two

Cypress-Falls (Texas) quarterback Kolby Gray is down to two schools from vastly different regions of the country.
Gray has several Conference USA offers but Pittsburgh and Utah have aggressively entered the picture.

"I think it's down to those two schools," coach David Raffield said. "He's meeting with Pittsburgh defensive coordinator Phil Bennett today and he is really impressed with their program. They have a great staff up there with NFL experience."
Utah will also be receiving an official visit by Gray, which is scheduled in January. The Utes have verbal commits from Cy-Fair's Colby Goodwin and Westside's Eric Dago, so Gray would have some familiar faces on campus. Utah's quarterback Brian Johnson is also from the Houston-area, having graduated from Baytown Lee.
Gray is a finalist for the Touchdown Club of Houston's Offensive Player of the year after rushing for over 1,000 yards and throwing for over 1,800 yards.
