Gratz has a favorite

Although he still holds two official offers from Connecticut and Temple, cornerback Dwayne Gratz out of Piscataway, N.J. claims three other verbal scholarships. Who else is on the verge of offering the 6-foot-0, 179-pounder?
"I've got three verbals and they are all saying they want to offer, but have to talk to the head coach first," he said. "They are Michigan State, Clemson and Eastern Michigan. I'm also starting to get looks from Akron and Virginia too."

Summer is here and Gratz plans to go to at least a handful of camps.
"I know I'm going to the Maryland camp, I'm going to Temple on June 16th and the Rutgers one so far. There could be others."
At this time, Clemson is currently the leader for the Jersey corners services.
"Definitely I'm favoring Clemson," he said. "They send a lot of defensive backs period to the NFL every year and are a top 20 team. I've talked to one of their assistants and he's got a great personality. He thinks I could be a great addition to the team.
"I'd say there are a couple teams that are close to them too. Michigan State is along with West Virginia. I am hearing from West Virginia a bit too."
With the possibility of offers coming from some of his favorites this summer, is Gratz nearing a decision?
"I'm going to wait it out for awhile," he said. "I do know that Clemson is only taking three defensive backs and I'll definitely consider them if people start to commit."
