Grant closing in on offers

Running back Colby Grant of Harrisburg (Pa.) Susquehanna has been very busy during the Spring Evaluation Period, and he hopes that it will soon result in a few offers. He is also planning on attending several summer camp to further showcase his abilities.
"Recruiting is moving along great," said Grant, who is 5-foot-8 and 170-pounds. "I'm hearing from a lot of new schools and a bunch are about to offer soon."

Grant mentioned that Syracuse, UMass, Penn State, Delaware, Montana and Towson have all been showing serious interest, with a few waiting on his SAT scores. Syracuse, Penn State and Towson have also stopped by the high school to check on Grant.
Recently Grant took a visit to a couple of Big East programs.
"I took a visit to Rutgers," said Grant. "I went to watch a practice and see the campus. It's the best place I've seen so far. I also went up to Temple recently."
Grant is still finalizing his summer camp schedule, but he knows that he will definitely make stops at Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Towson.
"I'm going to show them that they should offer me on the spot, if they haven't already," said Grant. "I want to get better at the camps and get some tips to take back for my senior year."
Heading into his senior year, Grant has been busy preparing for his final high school season.
"I'm just working on mental stuff and being more of a leader since I'm a senior," said Grant. "I want to lead my younger teammates by example so when I'm gone they will know how to handle things and man up."
