Granger eyes five for visits

The nation’s No. 12 player has begun to line up his official visits. So who’s in line to get an official visit from Dallas Kimball five-star defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger?
In a surprise move, it looks like Granger's official visit list will not include either one of the in-state schools.

Granger said he’s going to visit LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Tennessee and Arkansas. It’s a surprise that he didn’t list Texas, a school that has been on his list for quite some time, and also Texas A&M, which had been making a push lately to get a visit.
“I don’t know about them,” an always reserved Granger said. “I’ll still talk to them, but I don’t think I’m going to visit them.”
Granger said he still is thinking about going to the Texas-Texas A&M game this week in Austin, which might give the Aggies and Horns a chance to impress him enough to get an official visit after all.
But at this point, neither looks to be a sure bet to get a visit. What is sure is that he’s going to visit LSU on December 3 and Oklahoma on December 10. He’ll then probably visit one of the final three schools on December 17 and then look toward final visits in January.
“I’m just looking at whatever’s best for me, who has a family atmosphere, that kind of thing,” he said.
Granger, who is 6-foot-3 and 315 pounds, true to form said he does not have a leader at this point.
