Grades keeping schools away
Houston (Texas) Worthing running back Marcus Cross is torn between taking a sure thing and waiting on something that might happen.
"I'm pretty sure I'm going to Nicholls State," Cross said. "I've got all these other teams like LSU, Arkansas, Colorado, and Houston that want me, but I don't have my test scores yet.

"Nicholls State can take me now and they'd be able to Prop 48 me. So I'm pretty sure that I'm going up there with my teammate and friend, but I just don't know for sure yet."
Cross said he took the ACT last two weeks ago and doesn't know when he will get his results back.
"I guess I have to decide if I wait or not," he said.
