Grace thinks Maryland is “Cool”

Four-star cornerback / dual-threat quarterback Dawayne Grace from Jacksonville (Fla.) White returned home from Maryland Sunday night, and although he had a good time, he realized the weather was a little different than his home town. The school spoke for itself, however, and he gave the trip good marks.
“Maryland good, but the weather really stood out,” he said with a laugh. “It was cold. They said it usually doesn’t get that cold, but it was so cold I couldn’t feel my feet.” He was hosted by sophomore running back Mario Merrills and freshman DB Domonique Richmond and rated the trip an “eight and a half.”

In addition to his Maryland trip, Grace has also taken an official visit to Miami. He is currently scheduled to visit Florida on Jan. 16, but is trying to move that trip to the 9th so he can visit Tennessee that weekend. Purdue, Florida State, and North Carolina are all candidates for his fifth and final visit, and he wants to take all of his trips before making a decision.
Grace is rated the No. 13 cornerback in America by Rivals.com. and at 6-foot-1 and 172 pounds, runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds. He also boasts a 36-inch vertical leap.
He maintains a 2.8 GPA with a 910 on the SAT.
