Gough visits six schools

Bealeton (Va.) Liberty offensive tackle Kory Gough made a whirlwind tour to six colleges earlier this month. Where did the 6-foot-6, 262-pounder go and has he hauled in any more offers?
"I visited Duke, UNC, NC State, ECU, Ohio and Marshall," he said. "I did all of those in one week at the end of July and early August.

"The trip was a lot of fun. I met all the coaches. I got to tour the campuses and went around the schools.
"Most of the colleges said they want to see my first film. All of them talked about how they see high potential in me and are interested."
Gough didn't walk away with any offers on the trips as he currently holds offers from Army, ECU, JMU, Ohio, Liberty and Hofstra.
Did anyone impress?
"All the schools were really nice," he said. "I've got to see what comes my way after my first game film and then I can decide."
The two-star prospect is practicing with his team in preparation for the season.
"Practice is going pretty well," he said. "We just finished two-a-days and open the regular season in another week."
