Gough lands BCS offer
Bealeton (Va.) Liberty offensive tackle Kory Gough picked up his first BCS offer in the past week. The 6-foot-6, 262-pounder landed the scholarship from the SEC.
"Arkansas offered me last week along with Marshall and ODU," he said. "I'm hoping to get out to Arkansas to check out a game there to see what it's like."

Gough is working on setting up to trip.
"It looks like I'm going there in the next couple weeks for an official. I haven't set it up yet. I'm very excited."
Was Gough surprised by the offer?
"To be honest with you, I never talked to them and then they saw my film online," he said. "They called my coach and offered me a full ride. I guess some of the best things happen out of nowhere."
A few other schools are starting to show more interest in the two-star prospect including Duke, Maryland and Virginia.
