Gordons official visit goes as expected

Traverse City (Mich.) West linebacker Eric Gordon, who committed to Michigan State during the summer, made his official visit with the Spartans this weekend.
"I just got back from Michigan State," Gordon said. "I met so many people this weekend. It was a lot of fun.
"They took us all around the campus. They showed us what they are doing with the facilities.
"I liked the academic stuff. We got to see the dorms."
Gordon will graduate from West in December and participate in spring ball at Michigan State.
"My goal is to play as a freshman," he said. "I'm just going to do what I can to play next year."
The 6-foot-0 and 217-pound Gordon made 124 tackles including five sacks during his senior season. He is the No. 4 prospect in the state of Michigan in the Rivals.com player rankings.
