Gordon wraps up great career

Linebacker Eric Gordon out of Traverse City (Mich.) West played a big part in his team's drive to the playoffs.
And while West was knocked out of the playoffs by Rockford, Gordon had a great game rushing for 126 yards on just 17 carries while making 12 tackles on the other side of the ball.

On the season Gordon made 124 tackles including five sacks while also rushing for 950 yards and scoring 13 times.
For his career Gordon made a school record 335 tackles including 51 for loss, also a school record. He had 19 sacks and forced 10 fumbles, another school record.
The 6-foot-0 and 217-pound Gordon committed to Michigan State during the summer over scholarship offers from Indiana, Missouri, and Central Michigan.
Gordon will graduate from West in December and enrol at Michigan State during the winter so he can play for the Spartans during spring practice.
Gordon is the No. 12 inside linebacker prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 4 prospect in the state of Michigan.
