Gophers close in on another commitment

Kirkwood, Mo., defensive end Willie Dyson is back from his official visit to Minnesota. It was his first official visit, and might be his last.
"I took my official visit up there," Dyson said. "I've been to some schools for unofficial visits, but this was my first official visit.

"It was real nice. It seems like the place for me. I felt real comfortable there. I'm thinking real hard about committing.
"I'm going back up when they play Ohio State in two weeks. I think I'll commit then.
"I like the way the players stick together. Win or lose they stay together.
"I've been thinking about Nebraska, Kansas State, and Michigan State, but I think Minnesota is the place for me.
Dyson made over 100 tackles including 12 sacks during his junior season. His team has won five of six games this year and he has 43 tackles, three sacks, and nine tackles for losses.
The 6-foot-3 and 220-pound Dyson is the No. 21 prospect in the state of Missouri in the Rivals.com player rankings.
