Goodwin talks recruiting

Antonio Goodwin will be one of the most sought after wide receiver prospects from the South this recruiting season. Goodwin, 6-1 and 180 pounds, is from Atlanta (Ga.) Booker T. Washington High School.
"I have real good speed and I run good routes," Goodwin said. "I know I can catch the ball better than I do. I just need to be more consistent."

According to Goodwin, he has now eight or so big time scholarship offers.
"Tennessee, Georgia, UAB, Georgia Tech, Florida, FSU, Oregon, Ole Miss and Alabama have all offered. Georgia was the first to offer. That was a big one for me and exciting as well. It felt good to get that first one. I like Georgia. I love those coaches at Georgia and feel like I have a connection with them.
"I also like Florida, Clemson, Alabama and others. I don't know much about Florida and Clemson but I know they like to throw the ball a lot.
"I went to Alabama's junior day this past weekend. They place a real emphasis on academics and I like that focus there. I liked the campus and all the facilities. The coaching staff was pretty cool and coach (Nick) Saban was a real nice man."
Goodwin will visit Tennessee and attend their junior day this weekend.
Goodwin is also a track standout, where he runs the 100 (10.6), 200 (21.5) and 4x100.
