Goodson leaves USC impressed

The first official visit is now in the books for Klein (Texas) Collins running back Michael Goodson. Goodson, a four-star Rivals100 member and Oklahoma State commit, had been planning on seeing the nation's No. 1 ranked team for sometime, and this weekend he finally got that chance.
Goodson who has said that his commitment to OSU is a soft one right now but still intact, took in Southern Cal this weekend along with his father. From all accounts, it looks like the visit went about as well as could be expected.

"On a scale from 1-10, I'd rate it a 12," Goodson said. "It was that good. I got to visit the campus when I first got down there, then we went out with our hosts. Mine was Thomas Williams and he was real cool. I mean everybody was cool."
Goodson said that the game atmosphere was great watching the Trojans beat their rivals UCLA in front of a big home crowd. However, his favorite part was hanging out with his host, other players, and recruits at night.
"I got a chance to see some of their fraternity stuff that they have there and we did a lot of that at night," Goodson said. "The night life was my favorite part. I also liked talking with coach Norton and coach Todd McNair. They just explained the offense and the type of plays I would be running there."
Though the visit went extremely well for the No. 5 rated player in the state of Texas, Goodson says he hasn't switched his decision just yet.
"I'm still committed to OSU right now," Goodson said. "USC is right behind them, I mean on their heels. My official visit to Oklahoma State will be this weekend and then I'll make a decision from there. Anything can happen at this point the way I look at it."
The talented Goodson also got to hang out with fellow official visitors Demarco Murray and Andre Smith.
"Yeah 'Big Andre' and Demarco were cool guys," he said. "I don't think anybody committed but they were very impressed."
