Goodman adding major offers

Lakeland (Fla.) offensive tackle Evan Goodman is a 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive tackle who is a key cog in the Dreadnaught offensive line. The talented lineman is already receiving a lot of attention from some of the nation's top programs. He has added a few significant offers recently.
"Florida, Ohio State, Florida State, and a few others," Goodman said. "I am hearing from a lot of schools."

Among other offers that Goodman claims is Arizona State, Auburn, Marshall, and South Florida. Some of the schools that have shown interest include Alabama, LSU, Purdue, and Texas A&M. At this point, Goodman is open to all interested parties.
"I don't really have one school that I like," Goodman said. "I just like college football. I just want to play for a good program. I want to find a place that my family likes and if I like the people around me. If you aren't around people you like, you won't want to play there. I just want to feel comfortable around the coaching staff, the players, and the school."
One school that has a bit of an advantage may be Arizona State, where Evan's brother - Devin Goodman - will be a freshman at in 2011. According to Evan, the possibility of playing together exists but isn't a certainty.
"If it happens, it happens, but we have to do what is best for us both," Goodman said.
Goodman, who has previously visited a few different schools including Ohio State and Florida, is about to hit the road for some Junior Day visits.
"I haven't seen any schools lately," Goodman said. "I am going to see Florida on Saturday and Florida State next weekend."
He plans to take many more trips before reaching a decision.
"I want to see as many schools as possible before I make any decisions," Goodman said.
