Gooding is ready to hit camp circuit

Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith wide receiver Sequan Gooding claims one scholarship. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder is preparing to hit the camp circuit in hopes of getting more offers.
"I'm going to start the camp circuit," he said. "James Madison was my first camp and then I've got Virginia on the 26th.

"I don't know after that. I plan to go to James Madison's camp cause I like the coaches a lot. I'm going to get up to Western Michigan too to see what they are like. I'm going to Virginia Tech on July 9th."
Currently Gooding claims his lone offer from Western Michigan.
However, other schools are interested.
"I'm talking to Ball State, Ohio, Temple, UMass and a couple others," he said. "They all want to see me at camp and see my ACT score. I just took the ACT."
As he prepares for visits, Gooding discussed what he wants in a school.
"I just want to find somewhere I feel comfortable like I do at Oscar Smith," he said. "I want to feel comfortable somewhere else and have good surroundings with my teammates. I just want to feel at home."
