Good Visit For Top TE

State College (Pa.) State College Area tight end Jonathan Stupar took a trip west this past weekend for an official visit to Arizona State. The Sun Devils put up more than 60 points, but did they score with Stupar?
"It went great, it couldn't have gone any better," said Steve Stupar, Jonathan's father. "The coaching staff was tremendous. Coach Koetter was amazing, very active and enthusiastic in all aspects of the game."

Stupar, a 6-foot-5, 245-pounder, clicked with the coaches at ASU.
"The coaches were very personable. Coach Osborne the tight ends coach was amazing, he and Jon hit it off great. All the coaches are young and have young families and had their kids around for training table. Jon really liked the kids too."
The 65-24 win over Stanford was also a factor.
"They threw the ball to the tight end a lot, so that didn't hurt," said his father. "They play a lot of freshmen just like Virginia because the coaches are also in their second year."
Stupar has already visited Virginia and ASU and has Iowa this weekend and Florida State on Oct. 26.
"It will be good to compare the first two visits with Iowa this weekend," he said. "The fifth one is still up in the air, we want to visit a school that really wants him. NC State is really recruiting him hard and Maryland, UCLA and Boston College are up there also. We'll set that up soon."
