Good News For Germany

Pomona (Calif.) athlete Eugene Germany received great news just a few days ago when he found out he passed the ACT and is now on track to be fully qualified without having to do summer school.
"We just got his score earlier in the week and he got a passing score," Pomona assistant coach John Brown said. "We're all really excited for Eugene because of how hard he has worked all year. He took summer school and then along with a full load this year, he's also doing night school. He studied hard to pass the ACT and I kept telling everyone who would listen that he would make it.

"Now all he needs to do is maintain just what he's doing in the classroom the final semester and he's good to go. He won't even need summer school this year, he's on track right now to qualify for any school he wants to go to."
Germany will visit USC this weekend and then it will be decision time. He has already been to Washington State, Michigan, Oregon State and Tennessee and most believe it will come down to a USC-Michigan battle. Germany told us during the CaliFlorida Bowl practices that those were his two favorites but added Oregon State is still in the mix as well.
