Good Counsel has an emerging 2013 QB

Though no scholarships have come to date, Olney (Md.) Good Counsel quarterback Brendan Marshall is beginning to receive some interest. The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder is definitely a name to monitor for 2013 according to his coach.
"He was invited to the Top Gun and he's got a cannon, everything he throws is hard," Good Counsel assistant Brawley Evans said. "He's got a hell of an arm and needs to work on a little touch, but he's going to help us spread the field vertically with Stefon (Diggs) and Kendall (Fuller)."

Evans went so far as to say Marshall will be one of Good Counsel's top prospects next year despite never starting to date after backing up Zach Dancel a year ago.
"He will be about a 20 offer guy," he said. "He doesn't do a lot of combines, he just works out with his quarterback coach.
"The best thing I like about him is that he passes the eye ball test with an A-plus. His arm strength is an A-plus along with his academics. He's going to have the opportunity there.
"He's got no offers yet, it is just interest. He is going to throw to one of the top wide receivers in the country, so he just has to show he can manage the game."
Marshall boasts a 3.8 GPA.
