It has been a crazy 24 hours for Fresno (Calif.) Edison defensive back Robert Golden. Just a day ago, the corner said he was set on Oregon State and could be deciding soon. Well, 24 hours later, Golden did make his decision, only it wasn't the Beavers he committed to.
"I committed to Arizona this morning," Golden said moments ago. "I decided to follow my heart and my heart this whole time has been with Arizona. Oregon State gave me a lot to think about and I loved my trip there but last night, I talked to my parents and decided Arizona was really the place for me.
"My parents really liked Arizona a lot and I also felt loyal to them since they were the first school to recruit me and offer. Plus I love the defense and I'm really looking forward to playing for the Stoops brothers. They are great defensive coaches and will make me the best player I can be.

"I really thought it was going to be Oregon State for me yesterday but after sleeping on it, I just woke up with Arizona in my heart. Like I said, I had to follow my heart and I'm very excited and relieved to have this decision out of the way right now.
"I think we're going to have a great class and a great defense at Arizona. There is also a chance to play early there so I'm going to come in and be ready to compete for playing time right away. My commitment is solid and I'm not looking at any other schools right now."
