Gold ready to make final decision
Greg Gold of Irving, Texas, might be off of the market as soon as he got back on it. He has an unofficial visit planned to Oklahoma State this weekend where there could be some news.
"I have a game Friday and then am going up to Stillwater on Saturday and check out their game with Louisiana Tech," Gold said.

"I am pretty much down to them and Arkansas, which I unofficially visited a few weeks back."
He watched the Cowboys game with Southern Miss last weekend and came away feeling he could help the team pretty quickly.
"They looked pretty good," he said. "But I definitely saw that I could be of some help to them. They had some trouble holding on to the ball that is something I could help with."
A commitment to the Cowboys is not out of the question this weekend but with his recent de-commitment from Northwestern, he says it's something he plans to really think about this time.
"Well, I haven't committed yet, but you never know what could happen," he said.
"The thing with Northwestern has really made me realize that I can't rush into this thing."
