Gold isnt golden to Northwestern anymore

With Bob Morton and Cody Douglas, the state of Texas has been hit with a rash of commitment changes and early commitments leaning elsewhere. Could Greg Gold of Irving continue the trend?
"I went up to Oklahoma State this last weekend and really liked it a lot," Gold, a 5-foot-10, 190-pound running back, said. "You could say I'm pretty much open again."

What is it that has attracted him to the thought of being a Cowboy?
"I really liked coach Miles and their recruiting coordinator," he said. "It's a small-town environment up there and they really like their football. It is just a fun place."
With many of these changes recruits begin thinking of getting to see family and getting to play in front of them every weekend. That, too is weighing on Gold’s mind.
"We began to look at OSU's schedule this year,” he said. “And my parents would only miss two games. So, that is obviously something that I’m going to look at."
Gold said Northwestern is still in the picture, along with Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M.
