Goede goes with Georgia

On a day many of the 2018 prospects are putting pen to paper to make their commitments to schools official, one of the best in 2019, four-star tight end Ryland Goede has put his name on the Georgia commitment list a full year in advance.

Auburn, Florida, Michigan and numerous other schools offered the 6-foot-7, 240 pound tight end out of Kennesaw (Ga.) Kennesaw Mountain, but he decided he wanted to stay home.

"I grew up a Georgia fan, so this offer really had a special place in my heart," said Goede. "I have been praying about it for a while. My family and I have talked it over the past few months and we just figure this time is right and I am ready to be a Dawg."

Not only will Goede play football in Athens, but he plans to play baseball as well. He talks about his decision in this video below.
