Godwin visits PSU

Middletown, Dela. 2014 wide receiver Chris Godwin continues to see his interest rise. The 6-foot-2, 192-pounder has half a dozen scholarships. Godwin took a visit to one of the schools recently.
"Over the summer, I got an offer from Penn State," he said. "I'm really interested in Penn State, the tradition and history. They have a great fan base.

"I actually went up there for the Ohio State game a few weeks ago. I had a really good time. The fans up there were great, it was a great atmosphere."
In the meantime, Godwin is getting new interest from the likes of Vanderbilt, Miami, North Carolina, Washington, Stanford, Michigan and Tennessee.
With the season still going, Godwin doesn't have any other trips planned and has yet to even come close to the idea of cut down his options.
"I haven't tried to narrow things down," he said. "I'm just trying to focus on the season with my team and then I'll deal with recruiting more after the season."
Regarding the year, Godwin has posted 10 receptions for touchdowns, three kickoff returns for scores, three rushing touchdowns and one passing as he has helped his team to a 10-0 record.
"The season is going pretty well," he said. "We're going into the playoffs right now.
"I feel like I'm contributing and helping to get our team to a state championship. I think the big difference for me this year was that the game slowed down a whole lot. I can focus on the little things and be a big player."
