Godwin quickly becoming hot 2014 target

Offers are picking up for one of the top wide receivers in the Mid-Atlantic for 2014. Middletown, Dela. wideout Chris Godwin has five offers at this time and is quickly becoming a hot target on the East Coast.
"I have offers from NC State, Boston College, Rutgers, Delaware and UMass," he said. "They all came in somewhere between the last two or three months.

"Recruiting has been a really cool process. I'm excited about the offers I've gotten so far and I just want to improve myself."
Do any of the schools stand out?
"Not really yet," he said. "I'm pretty wide open to a whole lot of things. All of the schools are great schools. I'm just going through my options."
While there are no favorites, Godwin is looking for a few things in his future home.
"Mostly I'm just looking for somewhere I can fit in with the coaching staff and players around me," he said. "I want to fit in the system and I'm pretty open as far as location. I probably want to study accounting or psychology."
To date, Godwin has visited NC State and plans to head to Georgia and South Carolina this summer for camps.
Godwin busted out this past season earning second team all-state wide receiver and first team all-state return man as he posted 30 receptions for approximately 500-yards and seven touchdowns. He also had 15 returns taking back four for touchdowns and approximately 400-yards there while helping Middletown to a state championship.
