Godley schedules camps

Defensive end Baird Godley out of Greensboro (N.C.) Northwest Guilford still doesn't have an offer. However, the 6-foot-1, 216-pounder is receiving interest from the ACC, SEC and Conference USA.
"A lot of coaches have come by to watch me workout," he said. "I still don't have offers, but I've been in contact with East Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina State and North Carolina. Those are the ones I'm hearing a lot from.

"They're saying they like my tapes and I'm planning to go to all four of their camps. As far as an offer, ECU has said I'm one of their top players on the board. State wants to take a closer look, UNC is considering me for h-back and wants to see how I adjust to that. If I do I'll get an offer. Tennessee likes me at outside linebacker and wants to see my lateral speed and they'll go from there."
One other camp Godley plans to attend this summer will be at Marshall. Meanwhile, Vanderbilt has just come into the picture and started recruiting him.
Without any offers, the Carolina lineman claims there are no favorites.
"Whoever offers will jump up as my favorite," he said. "Mostly, I'm looking at the coaching staff for these schools along with the facilities and of course I want to play. A chance to play in my career is definitely a major factor in my decision."
