Godby center has a favorite

Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby center Kevin McCaskill has tried to keep a low profile this summer and get ready for the season. However, with all of the recruiting interest he has been getting his time is probably limited.
"The only new offer I've picked up in the last couple of weeks is Eastern Michigan," McCaskill said. "Other than that it's the same offers I've had, Louisville, Ole Miss, Iowa State, Illinois, East Carolina, Marshall and some others."

The 6-foot-0, 287-pound McCaskill attended the NIKE camp in Tallahassee where he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.77 seconds, the shuttle in 5.06 seconds and posted an 18-inch vertical jump.
"Right now my top three schools are Louisville, Ole Miss and Iowa State," McCaskill said. "I am still looking at some other schools, but those are the main three. Louisville is probably ahead of the others right now. They had a break out year last year and I like the way they do things. Their depth chart also looks real friendly."
McCaskill has been starting for Godby since his freshman year and was an all-area selection as a junior.
"I am looking at how a team is looking towards the future," McCaskill said. "I will also take a close look at the rosters and see how the depth chart looks. I don't want to go somewhere that has three or four people in front of me."
In addition to the Tallahassee NIKE camp McCaskill only attended one other camp and that was a camp attended by the whole Godby team at Georgia.
